Education and Vocational skills

Vocational training is a key part of SERVE’s current skill development initiatives, aimed at equipping individuals with practical skills that prepare them for specific trades or careers. Under the Skill India Mission and schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), vocational training is being promoted across sectors such as healthcare, construction, electronics, hospitality, and more. These programs focus on hands-on learning, industry-relevant curriculum, and certification to improve employability, especially among youth and school dropouts.

The current skill development guidelines emphasize alignment with National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) to ensure standardized, quality training across institutions. The significant efforts undertaken by SERVE support skilling of dropout children, enrolling them in government skill centers and enabling CSR initiatives to reach as many adolescents in building their career without facing unemployment eventually.
